Meet our Executive Director

Ambassador Nnamani Arinze John's journey embodies a relentless commitment to societal betterment. A native of Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu state,from his formative stage, he exemplified an unwavering passion for service, often sacrificing personal comfort for the collective good.

As a natural-born leader, Ambassador John consistently found himself in roles of responsibility, where his acute sense of duty led him to a profound realization—the urgent need to focus on the younger generation and their well-being. Recognizing the devastating global impact of drug and substance abuse on young minds, he marshaled a group of equally impassioned friends to address this calamity.

He founded the Refined Gems Humanitarian and Rehabilitation Foundation, dedicated to the transformative ethos of turning trash into treasures. This non-governmental organization (NGO) swiftly gained momentum, making substantial strides in drug awareness advocacy, youth mentorship, skill acquisition programs, and innovative rehabilitation processes. Their collective efforts provided hope and guidance to countless young individuals, empowering them to rise above adversities.

Ambassador John, a graduate in Public Administration, continues to lead the foundation with unwavering determination. Even as he pursues his master's degree, his steadfast commitment to empowering the younger generation remains the driving force behind the foundation's impactful initiatives, illuminating paths to brighter futures for those in need.
